Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose returns in 2025. We have partnered with some of Christchurch’s top hospitality venues for a month of meals that matter. September 2025 will be Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose month. We want all of Canterbury to help us support the Christchurch City Mission’s Back to School Programme.

Our venues for 2025 are yet to be revealed but exciting things are on the way. Stay tuned for announcements coming soon.

This year, over 40 restaurants have teamed up with Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose. When you visit any of these venues and order the Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose feature dish, a donation will be automatically made to support the Christchurch City Mission’s Back to School Programme.

A PURPOSE WORKS

It’s simple… each of our venues has a Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose dish on their menu.

Every time you visit a participating venue and order the Bayleys Plate Up for a Purpose dish, a contribution is made to the Christchurch City Mission’s Back to School programme.

Every Bayleys Plate Up meal ordered across all the venues in the month of September contributes to the total fundraising pool. The more we can raise as a community, the more children we can give the chance to have the best start at school.
